My patients are scheduled at a frequency of about one every 15 minutes.
This does not mean that every appointment lasts 15 minutes. It simply means that the average appointment is 15 minutes long.
Some doctors see one patient every 7 minutes, so this is better than the average.
However, some patients are bound to feel cheated when they come to the doctor with a list of problems, and only a couple of them are addressed on the visit.
I am always happy to see patients back frequently, so that all of their problems are eventually handled.
To ensure that your most important problems are dealt with during your visit, make sure that you tell me which issues are most important to you at the beginning of our discussion. That way, if there isn't enough time to get to everything, at least we started with the most important items.
